SHINSEN BLACKBURN

Came here today and tried a few different types of sushi and the gyozas, they were amazing! We got them to takeaway and they travelled well too. I have a shellfish allergy but love sushi, I let the staff know about my allergy and I immediately felt at ease that it would be safe for me to eat there. They recommended various types of sushi that would be fine for me to try and they were all delicious. Will definitely be coming back very soon!

We tried Shinsen for the first time today and were instantly impressed with the quality of the food. Service was fast and the staff member serving us was very helpful and friendly. We ordered a mix of yakisoba noodles, ramen, bao buns, sushi and a poke bowl. Everything tasted amazing and I particularly loved the ramen broth and crispy chicken! As reflected in the photos, the food was of a very high quality using fresh ingredients. Overall a very pleasant experience- we will certainly be returning soon! ☺️

Shinsen, what can I say, I have so much love for this place, the staff are the most loveliest, friendly and welcoming, their food is fresh, colourful and full of so much flavour, every bite is heavenly, the only food where I do a little happy dance while eating, I honestly can't get enough. If you haven't yet tried their food, it's an absolute must, you don't know what you are missing. 🍣🍜

The sushi is always fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavour – honestly some of the best you’ll find outside of a big city. The variety is fantastic, whether you’re after classic rolls, something adventurous, or just a quick bite to brighten your day. A special shout-out has to go to Nicole, who makes every visit even better. She’s always welcoming, friendly, and clearly passionate about what she does. Her recommendations are spot on, and she goes the extra mile to make sure customers leave with a smile. Between the quality food, great prices, and Nicole’s brilliant service, Shinsen Sushi is an absolute must-visit in Blackburn Market. Highly recommended!

I’ve never been a big fan of sushi—until now. This place has completely changed my mind and blown me away. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much, but now I’m already planning my next visit. Every item I had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff were so lovely, friendly and so helpful with any questions we had. If you’re unsure about sushi, this is the place to change your mind. I’m officially converted!
